Nicola Waddington studied at the School of Art and Design in Belfast before leaving her native Northern Ireland to taking up a place at the Mackintosh School of Architecture at the Glasgow School of Art.

She has worked as Architect in London before returning to County Armagh to become a director in the award winning practice Alan Jones Architects and now heads Waddington-McClure Architects and is currently involved in several residential projects which can be viewed at .

Nicola’s art work is very much inspired by the Irish countryside and captures the light and athmosphere of the dramatic landscapes of the Sperrins region of Northern Ireland and Connemara in Co Galway.
